The U.S. bishops’ 1990 document Human Sexuality: A Catholic Perspective for Education and Lifelong Learning also counsels pastoral sensitivity for “those who feel confused or who have genuine doubts about the wisdom of this teaching”. While stressing that they must present the living tradition of the Church with clarity and conviction, they also strive for compassion and care “for all those who seek the truth with a sincere heart.”

Amen and peace Mother of Four. I couldn't agree more, and that is why I find in most of these cases, it is best not to entertain those that refuse to empathize and at least understand various points of view with humility. It does, however, give one pause as to what the real motives of these people are. Are they truly trying to win more souls to God? Or, are they more concerned with being "right" at all costs, including their own souls? In Christ's Love...
